Accommodation tax
Accommodation tax was introduced in Tokyo on October 1 (Tue), 2002.
HOTEL PACIFIC TOKYO charges accommodation tax for overnight guests.
Accommodation tax
The total of the room charge, excluding meals, and the service charge are subject to taxes. Taxes for one person per night are as follows.
- Below 10,000 yen: no tax
- 10,000 yen to 14,999 yen: 100 yen
- 15,000 yen or higher: 200 yen
* Charges for the following items and services are not taxed.
Meals, drinks in the refrigerator, meeting room, wedding ceremony, banquets, esthetic salon, swimming pool, sauna, video watching, cleaning, telephone, parking, etc.
For more details about the accommodation tax in Tokyo, refer to the "Tokyo metropolitan accommodation tax act," which was issued on April 10, 2002, and enacted on October 1, 2002.
